In 2024, the Centre for Contemporary Pan-Africanism (CCPA) marked a pivotal chapter in our journey — a year of laying stronger foundations to raise contemporary Pan-Africans. Through two impactful initiatives; SPARKS (Strategic Policy Advocacy for Reproductive Knowledge and Services) and The Rise Collective, we deepened our commitment to equipping youth with the tools, voice, and platforms needed to shape Africa’s future.
These projects were implemented across five regions in Ghana and four African countries, directly benefiting adolescent girls, young women, grassroots youth organisations, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) through capacity building in policy advocacy, digital storytelling, and strategic communications. Together, we reached over 7,700 individuals directly, with thousands more engaged through media publications, community dialogue sessions, and visual storytelling. These efforts have not only amplified the work of emerging youth-led organisations but have also laid the groundwork for sustainable policy influence and peacebuilding rooted in local realities.
Looking ahead to 2025, we are poised to scale our impact through the launch of the AfCFTA Academy and the Northern Intergenerational Peace Dialogues (NIPD). The foundation is now solid — and from it, we are ready to raise a generation of bold, visionary Pan-African changemakers who will shape policy, strengthen peace, governance, and ignite economic progress across the continent.
